Here is a list of the deluxe features available in the registered version of LTools:
- Add Events – adds a single event to each tagged individual or marriage in a single operation.
- Add To-Do’s – adds a single To-Do item to each tagged individual in a single operation. In other words, it does a “bulk” add. Great for adding To-Do’s when new online databases become available.
- Address Converter – converts Event Addresses into Locations.
- Advanced Set Living++ – sets the Living flag to NO for individuals based on dates from parents and spouses.
- Advanced SSDI Retrieval – queries the http://www.familysearch.org/ website and presents to the user potential SSDI matches. The user then can review these potential matches, unselecting any that he/she doesn’t want inserted in their Legacy database. Once reviewed, the user can choose to have their Legacy database updated automatically.
- Advanced Tagging – Ancestors Plus – tag ancestors *PLUS* a specified number of generations from the ancestor tree trunk.
- Advanced Tagging – Mito DNA – tags the mitochondrial descendants of a starting female.
- Advanced Tagging – Tag Living – tags individuals who appear to be living in the year specified.
- Advanced Tagging – Y-DNA – tags the Y-DNA descendants of a starting male.
- Backup/Restore USR Files – saves and restores .usr files.
- Create Unknown Spouses – replaces the blank spouse records that Legacy creates with actual Individual records (inserts a row in tblIR).
- Copy Master Events – creates a copy of an existing Master Event record.
- Find Missing Information – inspects various primary and secondary events for missing information.
- Find Unattached Multimedia – finds multimedia files in your Legacy multimedia folders that have not been attached to anything in your database. Output is saved to a CSV file.
- Get IPTC Data – copies IPTC Caption from JPGs to the Legacy Caption field.
- Global Text Search – searches all text fields in your Legacy database for a specific string.
- List Events – lists selected Events (birth, baptism, death, burial, marriage, tagged individual events, tagged marriage events) by date for tagged individuals. Results can be printed or saved as a CSV file. Output can also be filtered by from/to date. Also generates a timeline file for use on Legacy’s Chronology tab.
- Merge Basic to SourceWriter Sources – converts a Basic Source to a SourceWriter Source -or- combines a Basic Source with a SourceWriter Source. V7 only.
- MRIN Filing Assistant – populates User IDs with MRINs for tagged individuals.
- RegEx GEDCOM – allows you to modify a GEDCOM file using regular expressions (REs).
- Rename Non-Unique Multimedia – find and optionally rename non-unique multimedia files.
- Repair Multimedia Paths – find and replace substrings in multimedia paths.
- Run Raw SQL – runs a raw SQL INSERT, UPDATE, or DELETE query. Not for the faint of heart.
- Send Legacy Reminders – sends out a daily “reminder” email listing individuals and marriages whose birth, death (V7 only), and marriage match the current date. No dialog.
- Set IPTC Data – copies Legacy Caption, Desc, Date, FileID, Surnames, and UserIDs/RINs from Legacy to the attached JPEG’s IPTC fields.
- Set Picture Captions- fills individual and marriage Picture Captions/Descriptions with the names of the individual or married couple and optionally the individual’s birth/death date or the married couple’s marriage date.
- Set Special User IDs – sets the User IDs for individuals to Ahnentafel, Henry, d’Aboville, or de Villiers numbers based on a starting RIN.
- Sort All Children – sorts the children of ALL marriages where ALL children have a populated birth or baptism date in a single operation.
- Sort Children of Tagged Individuals – sorts the children (by birth or baptism date) of all tagged individuals in a single operation.
- Sort Events by Date – sorts the events (by date) of tagged individuals or marriages. Does what the Legacy feature does but restricts the sorting to individuals or marriages which are tagged.
- Sort Marriages by Date – sorts the marriages (by marriage date) of all tagged individuals in a single operation.
- Tidy Legacy HTML – cleans up the output of Legacy pedigree style web pages.
- View Legacy Tables – display rows in any Legacy table. You can add a LIKE clause to filter the result set. Wildcards (%) are permitted. You can also supply your own SELECT statement. Output can be directed to a CSV file.
